The Sample Choir
Feeling Lonely
Todd 'the God' Edwards, known for his pioneering contributions to UK Garage, first gained prominence in the early 90s within New York's competitive underground scene. His signature style, characterized by rhythmic vocal samples, bouncy basslines, and punchy percussion, set him apart from other producers. In 1994, under the name The Sample Choir, he released an influential EP on Nervous Records, which played a key role in shaping the UK's Sunday club scene and the rise of speed garage.
