While preparing the release of *YaneUra Oct. ‘80*, a mysterious tape was discovered among the recordings left by Les Rallizes Dénudés' frontman, Takashi Mizutani. The undated cassette, initially labeled as “Unknown,” featured the distinctive twin guitar interplay between Mizutani and Fujio Yamaguchi, marking a new era for the band. Initially thought to be a forgotten studio recording, further investigation revealed it to be a live board recording from a performance at YaneUra in Shibuya, Tokyo, on September 11, 1980. The raw intensity of this recording contrasts with the more polished sound of the band's later work.
