Loradeniz

"SUN SHONE" is the debut album by Loradeniz, the multidisciplinary project of Istanbul-born, Amsterdam-based artist Deniz Omeroglu. Rooted in ambient electronic music, the album blends synthesizers, effects, percussion, and voice to explore themes of heartbreak, healing, and emotional transformation. Initially sparked by personal loss, the project evolved into a full-length release shaped by both spontaneous creation and focused development.
Omeroglu composed, performed, and produced the entire album herself, drawing on her classical training, academic background in composition and sound design, and experience as a DJ and sound designer. The result is a deeply atmospheric and emotionally layered work, where intricate synth patterns and lyrical ambiguity reflect a delicate balance between vulnerability and strength.
Though ambient in tone, the album incorporates a wide range of influences, from IDM to club culture, creating a sound that is both introspective and expansive.
