Cortex

For the first time on vinyl, a collection of tracks from Cortex, Alain Neffe’s experimental spoken-word project from 1984, is released. Centered on minimalist live performances, "Cortex" combine an haunting visual setup with improvised music built around a narrator’s voice. Recordings are informal and raw, capturing the emotional and instinctive connection between voice and sound, creating an unpolished yet powerful experience focused on text and atmosphere.
