Samuel Jabba

London producer Samuel Jabba serves four hypnotic doses of tech-trance on 'Hidden Dreams', his latest 12" for Cabaret Recordings, the joint stock of Japanese josses Yuki Masda and So Inagawa. 'Moloko', 'Interdimensional', 'Elektra' and 'Future Mind' waver like bolts of luminescent current through translucent wires, connections Jabba has more than brilliantly made over many a former EP and single. The closing track is especially minimal but, unlike most flying house mambas of its kind, unafraid of changes to the tonic note, producing a skeletal form of emotional release.
