25 years after its official release, Deeper Audio Cuts “DAC002” gets a very much demanded re-issue: two split EPs that contain remastered originals from the 1997 release together with fresh, unreleased tracks dug out from Scott’s DAT archives. This part 2, contains “My Jupiter Rox’s” from the original DAC002 EP plus the previously unreleased “Cook It”, “DoDaDaDa” and “Ayeah”.
New Berlin based label Dead Sound Records kicks off the first in a series of leftfield house & techno releases. The first E.P is from Cosmonaut, with the whole E.P fittingly taking influences and inspiration from his native Uruguay whilst still adding his unique flavour to each production. The E.P shows the depth and range of Cosmonaut’s ability as a producer with the A-side featuring two heavyweight 4/4 peaktime tunes. The B-side showcases a deeper side to Cosmonaut’s producing skills but with the dancefloor still very much in mind. TC80 rounds of the E.P with a delicate, emotional interpretation of The Cristal Ensemble Orchestra.
1989's DIE MINIMALISTEN single get's a 10" re-issue (complete with a Heap produced 'Megamix')_Heap (who runs WIENER BRUT): „While working on the release we kept on jokingly referring to the record as the „Austrian Mashisa“ due to the similarity in sounds it provides. I first played the Megamix on last year’s Dekmantel Selectors festival, where it showed its potential for being a Summer hit. In fact, the original 7'' release was the result of a final school project with the goal to substitute the Austrian tradition of compiling a class magazine when graduating from school.“
