New Berlin based label Dead Sound Records kicks off the first in a series of leftfield house & techno releases. The first E.P is from Cosmonaut, with the whole E.P fittingly taking influences and inspiration from his native Uruguay whilst still adding his unique flavour to each production. The E.P shows the depth and range of Cosmonaut’s ability as a producer with the A-side featuring two heavyweight 4/4 peaktime tunes. The B-side showcases a deeper side to Cosmonaut’s producing skills but with the dancefloor still very much in mind. TC80 rounds of the E.P with a delicate, emotional interpretation of The Cristal Ensemble Orchestra.
'II' is the second album by drum experimentalists Simon Popp and Florian König aka '9ms'. Following up on their debut 'Pleats', the Munich-based musicians further expanded their toolbox of synthesizers, effects and tonal percussion to create a dark and dense fusion of Trip Hop, Krautrock and Dub. repressed !Alan Abrahams, that's the man behind Portable, born and raised in South Africa, where he started to produce music in the 90's. 1997 he moved to London. After several releases on Labels like Context or Background, he started his own imprint "Süd Electronic" around 2002. Another Project named "Bodycode" was born and found a home at USA based "Spectral", the sisterlabel of Ghostly. His first "Portable" album was released at the end of 2007 through "Süd Electronic". Now Perlon is more than happy to welcome mister Abrahans on board with this incredible deep 12" entitled "Knowone Can Take Away". Two songs for eternity!
