In 2001, Mike Von Schommer captured the essence of Detroit’s environment in his album "dc15", recorded at the Crown Motel. Surrounded by the transient life of the area, he used his modular synthesizer and DIY electronics to create haunting, lonely tones. The environment influenced the music, making the experience deeply personal. Originally released in 2002, the album has now been remastered and is available on color vinyl and digital formats for the first time.
